Spaying of a female cat, Metta

Yap Han Yih wrote to me a few weeks ago, asking about the spaying of cats.  He said his aunty who previously did not like cats, had read my book, Pawprints, and now, has just adopted a stray cat.  Han Yih looks after the cat.

So, Han Yih asked if we could do the spaying of the cat.

And it turned out that Han Yih is one of my former students too, from “way back when”.

Today, Han Yih brought the cat, Metta, to our panel vet for spaying.

Han Yih and Metta.
Han Yih picked up Metta this evening and will look after her until fully recovered.  Han Yih’s aunt (Ms Ong Guit Sim) also gave AnimalCare a donation.  We thank her very much for her generosity.  As they say, “pass it on…”  One good turn deserves another!
Viva la CNRM!
Note to everyone:  Please be informed that our sponsorship is only for stray animals or newly-rescued strays (recently adopted as pets).  We regret to inform you that we cannot sponsor for home pets because that is our agreement with the vets.  For home pets, you would need to pay the full cost.  Our fund comes from the generosity of donors who understand that our objective is to help stray animals.
