Let’s not go backwards to animal-testing, shall we?

I refer to my posting last night on the news that Malaysia will set up its first animal-testing laboratory in Rembia, Alor Gajah: http://www.mmail.com.my/content/32184-animaltesting-centre-be-set-malaysia

My daughter provided this link: http://advocacy.britannica.com/blog/advocacy/2007/09/scientific-alternatives-to-animal-testing-a-progress-report/

Can we hope that the powers-that-be will do a careful study on the efficacy of animal-testing before investing (wasting?) taxpayers’ money by jumping onto a very outdated bandwagon of a cruel and wasteful industry?

  1. Lab Pooch

Malaysia is a backward country… that is why the animal-testing lab is being set up here… In advanced western countries, most of the citizens are against such cruel practices. In this country, there are more barbarians than civilised people. These barbarians are more interested in dollar and cents than compassion to animals. The ringgit rules in this country… anything that can make money… it is ok… animals cannot vote!
