We are now all eagerly awaiting Dr Susanna to set a date for NiceNice’s first acupuncture treatment. Meanwhile, Julie says NiceNice has been urinating and defecating on her own. She even licks her own face and legs, and keeps herself as clean as possible.
NiceNice is simply adorable, and we hope acupuncture can help her.

If she can urinate and defecate,it means she is not paraplegic.
Is she able to stand on her hind limbs?
The vet initially said she would not be able to urinate and defecate on her own, but somehow, she managed to do it on her own after a few days. Would have to ask Julie if she can stand on her hind legs now. Previously, she could not.
If the spinal cord is completely resected from a severe fracture, there is no way she can poo or pee.
Hopefully it was a contusion. Acupuncture will aid recovery.
Since Dr Susanna will be away, the first acupuncture treatment can only be conducted in early July.
