Super Zhou Zhou went for his second Ivermectin injection for mange today, and the vet is pleased with his progress. According to Julie, many of the crusts have fallen off already. Zhou Zhou has also put on 300 g and is looking much better (take a look at the photos below).
We are all waiting for Zhou Zhou to recover completely.
By the way, Zhou Zhou IS male, after all. We were right the first time!
Photos during the 2nd Ivermectin jab:
I know, my tail is still kind of bald…
I still don’t look too good, but believe me, I looked much, much worse one week ago. Take a look below, but don’t get a shock, please…
The photo below was taken when Zhou Zhou was first rescued.
It shocked many people when I first put it up. But as bad as it looks, it can heal.

I dont have the proper words to describe your kindness. Whoever you are, you're simply SUPERB BEING with a merciful heart
WOW! It's been, what, a week?? That was one of the worst mange cases I've ever seen. It's really wonderful to see how much better Super Zhou Zhou looks. Bravo, Julie! He's going to be a SuperModel. 🙂
See, he IS beautiful! Very handsome cat.
Julie, this is just so amazing. When you first sent me Super Zhou Zhou’s picture, I couldn’t figure out what it was. Anyone who would have first seen him would have just look and walk away. It takes a beautiful soul like you to take him home and give him all the medical needs that is required. We are living in a world full of cruelty even amongst human beings and the life of a strays is perhaps 100 times worst. In any religion we are in we are taught the same.. be kind to all sentient beings. Your story on Super Zhou Zhou has taught me a valuable lesson. The impossible is made possible if only we care to help.
Have a new beginning super zhou zhou and to you Julie and also the rest of the animal rescuers keep up your fighting spirits for the animals as they truly need you. For a little hope will make a different in their life.
