Help needed urgently for two dogs

As I was driving nearby by housing area on a Saturday afternoon, 29th Jan 2011. I was stunt when I caught a pitiful sight of a dog being tied at the roadside. At first glance, I assumed someone had pulled a prank and tied this poor stray dog. So, I know needed to untie this poor fella.

But upon checking with some staff working at the petrol station opposite the road. I was told that the dog belongs to a yellow house facing the main road. Only then, I realised this dog is tied to guard the house.

Horrified with the condition of the dog and the area it was kept in, barely having only a yellow box as shelter, I attempted to un-chained the dog. Unfortunately, the dog is too scared and nervous, and it wanted to charge at me, in fear, merely to protect itself.

The next day, a friend and I came with food and decided to approach the owner to tell them that it is wrong to tie a dog at the roadside, more so with no shelter. As expected, we were told off to mind our own business. We drove drive in front of his house to check on the household and we saw another dog tied near the gate and it has the similar box, as shelter from rain and shine. We then concluded that this dog is no better then the other one. The only difference is that he is inside the house compound, and, hence, saved from the dog catcher!

My attempt to get help from DVS and SPCA is to no avail. I am begging and pleading for anyone, with authority or skill to help rescue these dogs from the cruel owner. And stop them from having any dogs in future.

When the whole nationwide, is busy searching for the abuser of Sushi, which might have probably have died of abuse (R.I.P dear Sushi), we still have time to save the life of another dog from another abuser.
