Another abuse case?

My daughter alerted me to this case:

Puppy 1/2/2011 11am this morning about my aunt with her husband next door neighbor in JALAN SONG Malaysia found near roadside trash him, kind couple took him home to call me immediately help. At that time I was still sleeping daze aunt on the phone listening to the voice of trembling, simply unclear to immediately get up in the past to see what happens.



When I saw the puppy the moment when I feel like I’m the spot is paralyzed limbs, a long time speechless, tears have been totally uncontrolled flow. . . The puppy’s mouth around the mouth, no, that he did not mouth, the bone is exposed the tooth visible, evidently, this puppy is only 3 months old, ah, in the end what A person can be ruthless to the point where even the dog only sparing the naive innocent. . . Whole only a thin skin and bone, sent to the vet there was originally a suture to help him do surgery, but the final decision to give up, because doctors said he could not find any excess skin or meat to help him stitches.


Chinese New Year, everyone busy with their own, no one is willing to shelter it, but fortunately I have a kind of ‘Fu’ girlfriend is willing to temporarily shelter name it, my heart was very grateful. God. . . This is how the world in the end? Where human child?But the arrival of the new year before the occurrence of repeated events such abuses small animals. We believe that this dog must be masters of abuse before, it may be that it escaped, it might be possible because of fear of the Chinese New Year is coming to the New Year there will be relatives and friends come to see, so let it let it run its course.


Since it is found in JALAN SONG, we have reason to believe that his master should be to live around here, hope that our friends have seen, help this man indignation of the animal owner and kick out!
 
 

 
Human cruelty knows no bounds.  The police have announced that they could not locate the abuser of Sushi, the little brown poodle.  So I suppose the matter has been laid to rest for now. 
 
The above is very possibly yet another case of abuse.  Thank goodness this puppy is already rescued and a good samaritan is looking after it now.  How many more cases are there out there, one can only wonder. 
 
What would it take for humans to learn that their cruel acts would come back to them one day? 
 
Will harsher punishments do the job?  Currently, the maximum fine for inflicting cruelty to animals is a ridiculous RM200.  Even if the penalty is increased, will the authorities take such cases seriously and conduct an all-out full-scale investigation as they would in crimes involving humans? 
 
Or, would it be better to promote kindness to animals by example?  This effort has to come collectively from all of us who believe that animals deserve to be treated as well as humans and to be respected as living and feeling sentient beings.  
 
Let’s do our part in promoting kindness to animals.  We have to start somewhere and stay positive that results can be achieved.  Today is as good as any other day to start.
