Elaine adopts the lost dog!

I refer to this posting: http://animalcare.my/2011/01/lost-dog-in-tmn-lagenda-mas-area-please.html  (Elaine found a lost dog in her area, just days before CNY.  No one has come forth to claim the dog.)

Good news, everyone….Elaine informed me about a week ago that she has decided to adopt the dog.  Apparently, the dog (now named Phow Phow, a female) could get along well with the family’s male dog, Toto.  But their cat is still afraid.  It would probably take some time for the cat to gain some confidence and courage.

Elaine had already sent Phow Phow to the vet upon rescue for a check-up.  Phow Phow’s injured paw has already been treated. 

We have offered to sponsor the spaying of Phow Phow since Elaine has so generously decided to adopt Phow Phow and provide her with a good home, but Elaine insists she will pay for it so that our funds can be used for the more needy cases. 

Phow Phow will be spayed next week by our panel vet.
