Two more angels to our furry friends

If you remember, sometime in March 2010, a kind Malay man who went by the name of Papa Meow adopted Lucky, one of our rescued dogs.  Lucky was rescued by a kind Malay boy called Faris, sent to us for treatment, fostered by Mandy’s family, but it was quite difficult for us to get Lucky rehomed.  Papa Meow stepped up to help and gave Lucky a home.

But the world is small (and beautiful) and a few days ago, someone by the name of Thalhah called me up to ask if we could assist him and his brother in getting their 30 rescued cats and 3 dogs spayed-neutered.  Another rescuer, Su, had already asked me on Thalhah’s behalf.  She knows the work that they do.  I said of course we would help.  

And it turned out that Thalhah’s brother is none other than Papa Meow, Lucky’s adopter!  And they have since rehomed Lucky.  Lucky is living with another lady now.

From November 2010 until last month, Bakri and Thalhah have done the spaying-neutering of 9 cats and 2 dogs at Klinik Kembiri.  We have just reimbursed them in full for all these animals, and we will continue helping them as much as we can from now on. 

Take a look at the photographs below.  This is the noble work of two angels to our furry friends and we are proud to be able to help them out in a small way.  Some of the cats are epileptic and some are blind.  You’d see a cat with skin disease in the photo.  The cat has already been treated and is well now. 

Rescued from the streets, to an animal paradise where they are safe and loved by two heavenly angels who walk on this beautiful earth.
