Last week, I was informed by well-meaning friends that there is a new experimental drug called RetroMAD1 that may be able to help FeLV and FIV in cats.

According to the entries above, it is developed by Malaysians and it has so far successfully treated 14 sick cats with FeLV and FIV.
Let’s hope it is really a new wonder drug and our FIV and FeLV cats will have a new lease on life!

This is probably an advanced drug developed by a Biotechnology company. Retroviral therapy is a novel approach to treating viruses by disrupting the mechanisms that facilitate RNA transcription. Synthetic Biology has made such advances possible. A possible candidate for Orphan Drugs.
