Today, Rani sent two more rescued male cats to be neutered under our sponsorship.
Here they are, just waking up right after the procedure:
Groggy…just waking up.
Still out. Minutes after the procedure.
Rani will put them up for adoption. These two are brothers, and their sister is the black cat whose spaying we sponsored a few days ago.

This boy looks so frightened and traumatised. Definitely does not like captivity … still so groggy but desperately trying to escape.
My female stray cat behaved like that after being spayed and I found out later that she had escaped from her carrier in the clinic and was so very terrified that the clinic staff had to run after her with a net to recapture her. She was all over the place and they were running after her like she was a butterfly!
I had told them to be careful because my stray cat was very fearful of people and to approach her gently but carefully, not to let her escape. But those guys underestimated my poor Snowy, haha!
Anyway, don't worry, boy, the worst is now over, you will now be on the road to recovery and a life of less suffering. You will be free of certain types of cancer, you will have less urge to spray, your urine much less smelly. You will no longer have the urge to prove yourself as a man and fight for girls and territory, and you will definitely have a calmer, more manja personality.
Very true, but I still cant convince my Malay neighbour to neuter "Kuning" who is always into quarrels with other male cats. Her husband who is blind, says its "DOSA" to neuter.
Do what I do (for Kuning's sake): quietly do it and release back. Especially for the males, it is quite unnoticeable. Just bikin tatau … Kuning himself will be soooo grateful! 🙂
I thought of doing so but Kah Yein said I'd better get the owner, Zaitun's consent. I am sure its right too.
Anyway handsome Kuning is too agressive to handle. When I feed him, I need a stick with me for protection. Otherwise, he punctures my hand. He is rough with his owner too.
Even if I manage to catch him, (Zaitun & her hubby are always out of house, merayau sana-sini), I dont have transport to send them.
Zaitun's other cats, Hitam, Belang and many more, were abandoned somewhere near the stalls by Brickfields roadside and I assume all were run down by cars. I could only manage to adopt one of her kitten Blackie few years back and she is about 5 years now.
Rimau & Putih (who was 7th time pregnant at that time) were Killed by stray dogs and I hope the same fate wont befall Kuning.
Only two Saturdays back I lost my Ronnie to flu and today my Inkie, who was suddenly paralyzed one week back. I dont want to lose any more cats/kitten be it mine or strays. Its very painful.
Get Zaitun's consent? I thought we talk about animals above humans? So many of her cats/kittens born and dumped and killed already, and you still want to get such an irresponsible owner's consent? Even if she wanted to, she cannot overwrite her husband's "dosa" decision.
No need lah, just go ahead for Kuning's sake. Trap him and bundle him off to Klinik Kembiri.
