Poor, poor Rascal

Rascal got adopted yesterday.  We were all so happy.  Unfortunately, it is just short-lived joy….

Punitha informed me today that the adopter has returned Rascal to her because apparently, Rascal could not get along with her (the adopter’s) cat on the first day.

But it’s only been ONE day….  Sometimes my own cats fight for a week and cannot get along.  And they have lived together for five years!

A few days ago, Rascal and Minnie were returned to Punitha because their first adopter did not want them anymore (she was afraid having cats would not be good for her new baby).  Then, Rascal got adopted yesterday….and returned again, today.

So, poor Rascal is up for adoption again.  He must be feeling so unwanted, being returned by two adopters.  Please help him find a good (forever) home.

Minnie hasn’t been taken yet, so she is also up for adoption.

Please contact Punitha on 012-3933527 if you are interested in adopting Rascal and/or Minnie.  Please help forward this link too.
Rascal and Minnie deserve better than this….sigh.

  1. usually we should give some time for the cats to mingle before they can get close. as for my cats, they take about 2 weeks before they became buddy. i hope for future adopter..please have some patience….pleasee…

poor rascal. the adopter should know that cats needs sometimes more than a week to get along with other cats and the owner as well

We already have 12 cats at home, if not for sure will adopt these two.

Hope they will get new home soon, and permanent..

I agree with Mas and MQ — if the adopter had kept Rascal in a separate room from her first cat for a week or so, allowing them to get used to each other's scent gradually, they would probably become great friends. (And yes, even great friends have hissing, spitting arguments from time to time… 🙂

I wish Nitha the best of luck finding this lovely kitty a truly wonderful home. 3rd time is lucky?
    [fingers crossed]

Oh, poor thing. If only I live on a compounded house, I will take in as many as I can.

I already have 21 (Ronnie & Inkie are dead) and Robbin fights will everyone else. Otherwise I can put him in the cage with my other cats.

  6. never found such a handsome rascal!!
