One female cat spayed, another spared

Today, the Yuens brought two of their female cats to be spayed under our sponsorship.  The two cats were examined but one was found to be pregnant (through ultra sound) so she was spared.

Only one was spayed.

Many thanks to Agnes for helping.

Spayed.

Spared…until after delivery.
The Yuens are an elderly couple who, on their own, have been looking after over 60 animals dumped at a nearby Chinese temple in Cheras.  The animals are not fed by the temple and not spayed or neutered.  The Yuens feed them daily.
We have previously helped Mr Yuen with the spay-neuter of a few dogs.  Now, we are helping with the cats.
We will help them as much as we can, with the cost of spay-neuter as well as raise funds for vaccinations.  Apparently, some of the dogs have died from distemper, hence, vaccination is important.
I have arranged for the vaccination of the cats first.

Oh! Good to know that the Yuens had joined Meiji, Imm, Papa Meow and all the rescuing angels out there. Thank you.
