Rascal’s case (updates from Punitha)

From Punitha:

Hi Ms.Kah Yein,

I have sent a message to David, the man who called to inform me about the incident he feels involved Rascal and led to his death.

I have asked him to get details from the cleaner who found the cat, regarding the color, markings, collar or anything else that may point out for sure that it was Rascal. I hope he will be considerate enough and respond to me tomorrow morning. After that, I will write everything I plan to on PetFinder.

Right now, the area of the incident and the timeline (early Monday or Tuesday morning) matches the adopter’s description of when Rascal got out of his house.

How absolutely horrible it is of him, to be so indifferent to this situation. All up and about looking for new cats and kittens to adopt. Leaving me to do all the worrying and grieving. He’s a mistake i’m going to have a hard time forgiving myself for.

I’m now forced to give up on receiving any more calls from people. The fliers were my last hope of getting any news regarding Rascal. I pray that some people (like David) managed to get hold of them. I hope someone will call again.

Thank you so much for putting up the blog post. I don’t know what i’d do without people like you, Julie and the others. Will update tomorrow okay.

Regards,
Nitha.

Dear Nitha,

You cannot blame yourself for this happening. There was no way you could have known so it is not your fault.

Give yourself some time to heal. I know how much it affects you. Write to me, if that would help. We need each other’s support at a time like this.

Let me know how else I can help.

Take care.

rgds,
kahyein
