Yin Wey feeds two cats who live around her house. The older one, whom she names Cash, is currently pregnant. Cash has probably given birth 7 times now, and Yin Wey has agreed to get her spayed after she delivers and her kittens are weaned.
One of Cash’s daughters, Cheque, is about 9 months old now. I spoke to Yin Wey last week about getting Cheque spayed as soon as possible before she starts breeding.
So, Yin Wey brought Cheque to our panel vet today.
Cheque still inside the carrier when I visited her at the clinic just before the surgery.
After Yin Wey collected Cheque, I went over to Yin Wey’s house…
This is Cash, Cheque’s mother. She seems very concerned about Cheque.
Cheque, still feeling a little disoriented, I think.
Cheque, on the stairs.
I had prepared a bigger cage for Cheque, but Yin Wey’s has her own cage.
All seemed well for now.
Cash…heavily pregnant, soon to deliver.
Yin Wey sent these photos just now:
Cheque’s wound.
Cheque sleeping comfortably. Note the notched ear. This clinic uses the V-notch.
A close-up of the V-notch.
We have another case today at our other clinic that uses a smaller notch. This other vet also believes a V-notch is better than tipping. Refer to next posting, please.
Get well soon, Cheque!
Cheque’s spaying is sponsored from our funds.

Ha ha ha. Unique names like Cash, & Cheque. What about Coins, Cents & Notes?
Anyway, beautiful cats they are. Thank you Yin Wey for caring for these beauties. GBU
