Horsey’s 1st night at Lydia’s

Updates from Lydia:

Horsey is doing fine. She’s a bit scared, which is to be expected as she’s been moved several times in the past few days but I’m sure she’ll come along. She growls I have her living in the house so that we keep her clean and safe and she can get used to the sounds and smells of her fellow animals and humans at home. She gets to sit in the garden twice a day.

She’s eating well although slowly as seems to be her habit even when she was roaming, as Joanne mentioned. She’s been getting up on her 3legs but is still quite tentative.

Hmm…what’s this?  Smells good!

Eating from Aunty Lydia’s hand.

After dinner, very contented in a corner.
I asked Lydia this morning if Horsey has started eating and guess what…she has.
And what did she eat?
Last night’s dinner menu:
Chicken soup with Barley
Minced liver, chicken and an egg
This morning’s breakfast
Minced liver, chicken and an egg
Today’s dinner:
Fish, oats and blended vegetables
Supplements with meals:
Vitamin C
Calcium powder
B Complex
Hello…this is a menu taken from a Five-Star Animal Hotel, yah?
I told you Horsey could not be in better hands!

Get well soon, Horsey, and thank you, Lydia.

    Lydia,
Thank you so much for taking care of Horsey for Joanne. HOrsey looks calm and happy. A few more of your great 5 start meal and he will not want to leave you and go back to to stray live! I believe what goes around comes around, and hope your good deed will be rewarded soon! Thank you so much once again!
