Today is going to be a long day, and hopefully, it’ll be a productive and rewarding one.
One of my former students has organised this event called “Malaysians in Motion” where the theme is…..
And it’s also about standing up for what you believe in even if you are standing alone. That’s their catch-phrase.
AnimalCare has been invited to open a booth. No money transactions, so no fund-raising and no tshirts. Just promoting the awareness that even if you are standing alone with no money, you can still make a difference.
Yup, talk, talk, talk…..
I’ll be manning the booth with my student-cum-former-zoo-keeper, Bavani, as everybody else is working today.
Time to pack all our stuff and load the car.

P.S. It seems Astro and Muzik.FM will be coming for the event. We’ll see….

if i were (staying) nearby, most probably i wud have taken leave & join u. anyway, jia u.
Only sometimes don't need $$, but in Bolehland, many times need $$ even to get Bolehland people to do what they are already paid huge salaries to do, especially where strays are concerned so that we can ease their sufferings of the poor animals.
Anyhow, your positive outlook towards life is good and refreshing, hope you enjoy yourselves and may much good come out of the event. Cheers!
Hi Anon, the "don't need money" part is not mine. It's the organiser's. ha ha….we definitely need money for our work! It just means today is all about creating the awareness and not about raising funds.
