Young adult male dog for adoption

Here’s another request:

This is the picture of the young dog my selfish and irresponsible neighbour threw out. She said, “he’s naughty” and she “can’t accept” it. He is around 7 months old – he’s a puppy, of course he would be energetic and high spirited!! He’s now in my garden, too intimidated by my 4 to go into the house. They seem determined to menace him because, well, they can!

He’s good with cats and small dogs (my 4 are smaller than him!!) and sweet natured and very, very lovable. Honestly, he has done nothing wrong – there are just some terrible human beings in this world.  According to another neighbour, the neighbour who threw him out has been hitting him.  Yet, despite all this, he is such a sweet natured dog.  He IS an escapologist so his adopter must be an experienced dog owner.

If you know someone who deserves to be loved by such a wonderful character, please ask them to contact me either via kuoklisa@gmail.com or at 012 213 8233.
I’ve no idea what his name was so I’ve decided to call him Oscar.  Over the next few days I will be teaching him to sit and stay because he has no idea what those words mean!!!

Would appreciate it immensely if you would share this email because I need to get Oscar adopted.  I can’t manage another dog because I already have 4 and I work full time and don’t have any home help.  I would love to keep Oscar but it’s not fair on my other 4.   I will get him vaccinated and neutered before giving him up for adoption.

Thanks.
Lisa

  1. Oh poor Oscar, after reading your story, it immediately reminds me of the puppy next door. My next door neighbour's son (in his late 20s) brought home a stray puppy (named PiggyBoy) a few months back. It's a big size puppy & I think he's mixed with German Shepard.

According to my mom, the young man fed PiggyBoy A FEW SPOON of kibbles in the morning & went to work. And he only come home like 11pm to AFTER mid-night & also fed PiggyBoy some kibbles!

PiggyBoy is in his teething stage, so he will chew anything that he can find on the floor, especially their water hose! And when the young man came back, he will hit PiggyBoy with the water hose or his hand! My sister said she once saw the young man's girlfriend hit the dog with a cloth hanger!

PiggyBoy's weight is estimated to be more than 10KG, I once saw this young man pick up PiggyBoy by the back of his neck with only his (the young man) right hand, and place him next to the water hose & hit PiggyBoy again!

My family & I frequently fed PiggyBoy with cooked chicken breast meat with rice & I even boil pure chicken soup (no salt/seasoning) – fed him the chicken & the soup, he lick it clean!

When no one was home, (Their auto gate 'sudah rosak' & didn't lock it, they just bang it shut) I'll go in to wash the water bowl, refill it with clean water (I found the water bowl dried out a few times) fed + play with PiggyBoy.

P/S: They later found out that I sneaked into their garden & I tell them my intention is to fed & play with PiggyBoy. They are OK with it, but they specifically told me not to give PiggyBoy 'not-clean-food'!
