Devi texted last night to say someone sent her milk for Stuart but it isn’t Pets Own Milk. She did not mention the brand, but I hope it is suitable for Stuart. However, she said Stuart did not want to take the milk.
Not drinking is a very worrisome sign for little kittens. They go down very quickly.
Yesterday, Punitha had already found a volunteer fosterer who was willing to drive all the way to Brickfields to pick up Stuart, foster him until he is stronger and return him to Devi, but Devi declined the offer.
I have appealed to Devi to take Stuart to the vet’s for advice or supportive care. He may need to be put on drips or given subcutaneous fluids. Not drinking is VERY worrisome.
We can only pray now that Stuart will be given all the help he deserves. He is Devi’s cat. Our role is to advise and appeal.
If I cannot manage whatever I am doing, I will definitely seek help, and if help is offered, I will take it with utmost gratitude and appreciation.
Please pray for Stuart.

Stuart is a very, very young boy and at such an age, it is quite difficult to put him on IV since his veins are so tiny, so are his little limbs.
At such an age, it is also very difficult to medicate him as he is simply too young for the medications. His organs are too young, not even ready for solid food, only mummy's milk.
It is very, very sad, but I think Devi knows inside her heart that the suggested efforts will be futile, causing further unnecessary stress on Stuart (not to mention Stuart being separated from her druing his precious last moments, even dying while away from her).
Looking at Stuart's age and condition, Devi's little baby Stuart will most likely die very soon (maybe today, this morning, or maybe latest tomorrow) and will be reunited with tiny Cindy, considering the vomitting, diarhhoea that he has been having, and also the refusal to eat that has set in.
So, rather than causing further stress to her tiny baby (futile anyway), Devi is wisely choosing to spend precious last hours caring for her tiny baby Stuart or simply just being there for him in his last hours.
I know, Devi, been there and done that. I am with you in prayer. You are doing the right thing. I am sure baby Stuart agree, basking in Devi's precious warmth and love till he goes. Many unlucky cats go away without experiencing a gleamer of Stuart's precious experience with his human Mama.
Take care, Devi kind friend! You are doing a wise thing following your heart. May God bless you!
Dear Anon,
As tiny as Stuart may be, it may not be impossible to insert a catheter into his tiny veins.
Teddybear is one good case. He was almost dying when he was brought to the vets. The vets had problems inserting the catheter into his tiny veins but they finally succeeded.

The few days of hospitalization and the subsequent loving TLC by Dr Chan saved Teddybear.
We cannot give up hope on Stuart yet. With proper medical care, he may be able to regain his strength and recover completely like what Teddybear did.
Thank you kind souls, for understanding my inner feelings. You have found me the right word. I dont know if I am right in my decision, but I want to do the best for my little boy.
