This morning Winnie visited Brownie and sent this photo:
And this message:
Hi Kah Yein,
Brownie look better today, at least he can sit up. The vet said his condition has improved a little from yesterday. But his body still feel very hot, still having high fever. Not eating on his own, need to force feed.
I must thank you for finding an alternative medicine to help Brownie. I would like to thank Punitha too for without her, the healing will be delayed. She took half day leave to go to Puchong to get the medicine from Dr. Tan & drove all the way to the hospital to pass the medicine to Brownie’s vet. I am thankful & grateful for her help & each & everyone prayers for Brownie’s recovery.
Thank you.
Winnie
I also had the opportunity of speaking with the scientist, Mr Huan, who developed RetroMad1, and have now gained a better understanding on the use and efficacy of this drug. It has been very successful in many cases so far, in animals that have an immunosuppression disorder and have been infected with a viral disease (FIV, FeLV, Distemper, Parvo, etc.)
We are all praying that Brownie will get well soon.
Please pray with us.

Been checking the blog a few times this afternoon for updates… I know it won't happen immediately but I'm just being anxious.
Several years back we lost our first Golden Retriever puppy to Parvo. It happened with no warning whatsoever, her fever even went away for a while and then all of a sudden, it was fatal. She had all her jabs on time, even stayed longer than usual with her mom for her milk. Yet, it still happened. I cried so badly at the vet's (so embarrassing to go back now) and I still miss her now. Brownie sure reminds me of her. It's really close to my heart. I hope Brownie will win the battle. 🙂
Brownie will win this battle! He has that fighting spirit! Thank you Mr. Huan, Winnie, Punitha, Ruth and not forgetting Dr. Chan!
Huey, sorry to hear about your Golden Retriever. Do you have a dog now? Thanks for sharing your story & well wishes to Brownie.
Adelyn, thanks for your support for Brownie!! He sure will get well & back to see mummy Angel.
