Ms Husky was one of the 23 puppies we took out from the Selayang Pound when the Selayang Pound was thrown into the limelight way back in January 2010.
Eight of the puppies did not look well, so I brought them straight to the vet’s while the rest stayed at the shelter.
Flashback:
Plucking out her ticks as I sat waiting for the vet.
Look at that….this is the plight of the strays or puppies at the pound.
(Those are huge ticks in her ears. Her whole body was totally infested with ticks. It was no wonder that she had tick fever.)

Ms Husky, along with the rest of the seven sick ones were treated at the vet’s.
Subsequently, Ms Husky was adopted by our vet…
And today…here she is!
The former Ms Husky was renamed Pepper. Pepper is fine, healthy and is also very intelligent. She lives with our vet and her family and another adopted dog.
We need some good news for this month!

Oh my god. Yesterday my boyfriend & I saw two very young puppies at a park in front of my house. Someone abandon them there 🙁 And we both took a look and they were really cute and friendly until we discovered these ticks on their bodies (we didn't know what they were) Puppy 1 had them in its ears like the one in the picture i was so frighten, whereas Puppy 2 had them stuck between its paws :(( None of use could afford taking care of it or bring it home so we took them to the SPCA in Ampang :/
