Erica Goh (ek2211@yahoo.com) shares her rescue and caregiving story:
Hi Dr. Chan,
How r u lately? Hope u still remember these 2 kittens that I’d rescued way back months ago.
Both of them are so close now, so happy to see them so loving. Both already had their 2 vaccinations,
planning to bring Sunshine for spaying next month.
By the way, last Tuesday I’d rescued another male kitten, maybe about 6 weeks old.
Still trying to find him a good home, somehow it is not easy. Sometimes I just wonder, if it will be a
LV or other branded beg for adoption, I think there will be no problem.
May u enjoy these few photoes, the last three are the latest rescued kitten.
Best regards,
Erica

all of them are lovely. Erica, u sure an angel sent from above 🙂
God bless..
The black one is "Rainbow"? How ingenious! All 7 colors of the rainbow mixed together gives us black! Your compassionate heart will bring you tons of blessings and happiness, Erica!
Keep the third one, Erica, cats are a lot more easier to care for than dogs, and another one actually hardly makes much difference in effort and cost. Spares you the big heartache of an adoption gone awry (the possibility is extremely, extremely high, you mostly read of the good results, but the bad results are greatly unreported) not to mention the actual suffering of the poor kitten. He will suffer much stress from the separation from you and his present safe and loving surroundings. Weiwen's kitten Bruce cried for almost a whole week till he grew limp and died and his adopter was actually irritated rather than compassionate and understanding over the little one's distress. It was very, very sad and Bruce was simply one of the many, many tragic incidents which go unnoticed.
Keep him, Erica.
Sincerely, deep down my heart I truly wanted 2 keep him. This is why till today, 17 days after I rescued him, he's still with me. You are right, not much difference in effort & cost since I already have so many dogs & 3 cats now, anyway it's not easy either because my job now is from 10a.m. to 8p.m. 🙁 WELL! If there is love, nothing is so hard, right? Kindly, no one really understand how I manage to take care of so many of them, me myself sometimes wonder how I do it too. Maybe I just tell myself JUST DO IT! Most of all, I do pray to GOD to help me, with GOD all things are possible. I always do my best for my dogs & cats, myself I live a simple life so I can give them the top dog food in the world now. If I have the ability like Bill Gate or someone rich, I always tell myself, no more strays out there. Haha… that's my dream…..
No, Erica, not be like Bill Gates, be like Warren Buffet. Bill Gates is too much effort and too much brain which most of us don't have, heheh! Be a smart investor and make your money work for you so you don't have to be a slave and work long hours, giving you lots of free time to do what your compassionate heart really wants to do, plus the $$ to do it! Hehheheee!!! But easier talking than doing …. but realistically, that is the way to go …
All de best!
JUST DO OUR BEST FOR ALL THE ANIMALS! JUST LOVE THEM, THEY WILL LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE….
