Absolutely disgraceful! I would like to see these people in court for this. Not handed over to Vets Department but handed over to Public Prosecutor!
Without food and water for more than a week!
If I keep 10 cats in several big cages or a room with 10 kg dry kibbles spread out in some big heavy clay dog water bowls, several huge buckets of clean water plus a gigantic litter box or two of sand with lots of garbage enzyme for that period of time instead of paying a bomb sending them to that damned Petnode place, all my precious cats will still be alive and well … except for a very smelly place.
That is what I have been doing all this while. I have many cats because they are rescues, no choice, but no damn untrustworthy boarding places for me. They are mostly crowded, unreliable and disease infested!
The genuine, real good boardings are always expensive and they have to be in order to maintain quality and lower bookings.
All, please attend press conference at Armanda Hotel today at 5-6pm to strongly protest the cruelty!
Once I asked the Cat Boarding place near my house how they care for the cats during long holidays. They informed me that a worker will come once a day to feed and clean the litter, that's all. I was shocked as I expect that someone would be at the premises in case of emergency (what if there's a fire?).
I almost send my cats over to the dreaded place but thank god the trip was canceled last minute!I dread to think what would happen to my cats if I leave them there!
I don't know how they can do the things that they did without an ounce of care. they should not worry about the authorities, they should worry of what will happen in the hereafter! I hope that god will give them what they deserve.
As owners,i thnk we should scrifice 4 the sake of ousets.if u are frequently trvlg wt no 1 to tke cr of the pets, then dont hv pets.i sent my cat once n i dnt thnk he`s hapea.so nw i brg them wt me wherever i go,n if on a biz trips,i gv them 2 my sgr 2 tke cr off them.shes so into animals n i thnk much bttr than ths smonster who offers servce then do ths ghastly thgs-lily
I sincerely think some people who have to travel on their job still take in pets to give them some form of a home because there are too many strays in the streets. They try to stretch themselves a little and share their home, but needs to find someone to care for the animals when they are not around. Looks like if we cannot find a trustworthy friend to come to our home to feed and clean, we need to seriously consider putting lots of clean dry kibbles and water in several separate heavy bowls (in case one or two bowls get soiled, there will be other clean ones still available) plus huge box of litter sand in a safe, closed but well-ventilated room.
