This would be the Mr Black on my street, the one Cathy has been attempting to catch FOR WEEKS. Cathy even purchased her own cat-trap (from the same source as ours) for the purpose of catching this elusive character.
Cathy texted last night: If and when I ever capture this Mr Black, I might just strangle him! He is really testing my patience! Cats I don’t want to trap keep getting caught and what does he do? Sit across the street and laugh at me! Grr…..
Well, that’s cats for you, folks. They are just SO smart! I never knew this too, until I had Cow and siblings. That’s when I realised they are really so much smarter and definitely more perceptive than dogs. Dogs are fiercely loyal and ever so willing to please you. But cats? Cats can make dogs do things for them…and make them take the blame for it!
A dog thinks: Hey, those people I live with feed me, love me, provide me with a nice warm, dry house, pet me, and take good care of me…..They must be gods!

GOD. lol cute :DD
I like the two different views of god and the two furry friends cuddled lovingly together can only mean 'peace on earth' – Sadhu. If only we can emulate them for putting their differences aside!

No, cats are loyal and affectionate creatures too, like dogs. Before becoming a rescuer, I had believed all the negative things said about cats, but I have seen with my own eyes how cats can love humans:
You drop by to feed them and even though so hungry, there are several who will wait and take turns to climb on to your laps, shoulders and neck to rub and kiss you for a looooooong time, refusing to eat the yummy tuna pushed in front of their faces. They reach for your face and just want to rub and kiss you like burning off the rindu of not seeing you for so long because you drop in only once a day.
And they only rush to eat after you walk briskly away, stomping your feet and shooing them back as you leave.
Very touching! This is what convinces me that the cats are not after you for food, they thirst for you love, affection and companionship just like dogs, even before food itself!
I have even seen my Tiger girl rush forward to hiss and spat at a dog twice her size when it had approached me.
Yes, of course cats are loyal too, my dear. This post was written in jest (fun). My 6 cats are very loyal too. They are my personal bodyguards. Read this: http://animalcare.my/2011/08/my-personal-bodyguard.html
Both are loyal creatures of the world
