The chairman of Selangor’s SPCA shared this with me: http://www.nokilladvocacycenter.org/
We’ve always advocated the No-Kill Policy. We do not condone euthanasia but instead, provide palliative care for terminal animals. We do not spay pregnant animals.
We do not support capture-and-kill and that is why I pulled our support out of the petition initiated by the SPCA as proposals No. 2 and No. 3 was “to euthanise in humane ways” – we cannot support that, so I asked that our logo be removed.

Spay-Neuter is the way to go to help control the population of the stray animals and in the bigger picture, if the world is looking forward towards peaceful ways to solve problems, they must stop killing, be it humans or animals.
Please support us to promote No-Kill.

Hi Kah Yein!
Ipoh SPCA has a "no-kill' policy which is why I support them. Unfortunately not all have this policy and it truly saddens many of us for the lives lost.
It's genocide – or cat-ocide / dog-ocide. Feel so helpless!
We do what we can as much as we can, and let God (whichever religion we are) do the rest.
There is no need to explain why you withdrew … we understand.
Yes, couldn't agree more. We need to respect the rights fro animal to live. We can't just take things for granted because they (animals) can't speak for their rights. After all wasn't it we who took away their homes….how can we blame them for not having a place to live peacefully. Is time we see animals with respect instead of looking at them like pest.
Just because animals cannot talk, that means they are willing to die.
I always wonder how would human feel if they are the one who is hunted and not hunting?
Teach the population to be kind to any living things. Take responsibilities if they have pets. Spay them so that the population can be reduced.
To what I understand, each cat can give birth 33 times in her life span. Imagine each birth is 4 with 2 females. By spaying one female, how many unwanted lives are not born. AND THEN KILLED!
