The cat who refused to die

While the story is “remarkable” in that this cat actually survived the gas chamber twice, I couldn’t help feeling so sad that animals are gassed in these places.

Whether it is by lethal injection or gas, or whatever methods that humans use to kill animals because they don’t want them anymore, or they don’t know what to do with them…it is so, so sad.

Euthanasia as a means of getting rid of animals – who on earth created this?

Every religion teaches us NOT to kill, and I don’t think it says “thou shalt not kill humans”. It says “thou shalt not kill”, period.

Yet, people kill.

Why?

Why don't kill a human so the cat will have space to live! What makes humans thought their's life are more precious than the animals?
If natural disaster strike, we are going to die the same way! So humans… please respect the animals, their life are as precious as you are!

People kill because they belong to the animal kingdom too. People kill because of their ignorance and greed. People kill to show they are powerful. People kill to defend themselves and their properties.

Moral values are decaying and fast going down the drain. People will harm not only animals but human beings too. I bet if they can harm ghosts, they will harm the ghosts too. It is very sad and frightening to read of the mass murders in many countries by tyrannical leaders like Saddam Hussein; Moammar Gadhafi, etc.

If human life is so precious, this wouldnt have happened in China:

(Scroll down the article and view the video clip and I bet you will be horrified.)

Dr Chan, what you are doing for the stray animals is very praise worthy. The world needs more of you. Your work of compassion has influenced many people. You can only try to influence people through your examples but if they dont want to change, you will need to let them be.
