It is about the massacre of dolphins in a most cruel way on the shores of Denmark, and why? Just for young men to prove that they are “men”. An utter shame. Does one need to kill defenseless and innocent creatures who do no harm to us (but instead help us when we are lost at sea or attacked by sharks) just to prove that he is a man? And also, to do it when the creatures are out of water so that they are absolutely defenseless and incapacitated.
I think the only proof there would be is that these men are total cowards, using these harmless creatures as victims to boost their pathetic ego.
The proof of the worth of a human being is not in how well he is at killing, which is a vicious, brutal and inhumane act, but in how well he serves others and how much compassion he has for all of Nature’s creatures.
Shame on Denmark, and its people who support this cowardly and inhumane act.

hi dr. chan. i used to work in denmark so i had the opportunity to ask my danish friends about this. apparently even though faroe island is generally part of denmark but it's essentially self-governed. the danes don't practise this (i believe it's even againts their law) and they don't associate themselves with the ritual.
Great! thanks for the share!
