Do you dry-pill your animal?

That means, do you, like me, force-feed your animal a pill or capsule without giving it liquids?

I think it makes a lot of sense. Just thinking about how painful it is for us to swallow a pill dry, I already feel the pain in my throat!  It also causes possible abrasions to the animals’ esophagus.

    For my dog, I usually break the pill into either 2 or 4 pcs and use wet canned food to wrap the pill. Sometimes I use a small piece of cheese. If its a capsule, I break the capsule and scatter and mix the contents into the wet food.
