Abandoned mother-cat and kittens for adoption (Khalilah Hussein’s)

UPDATES on 25th March 2012 – all adopted!!

From Lila (wkhalilah@gmail.com):

Hi Dr. Chan,

My name is Lila, one of your avid blog readers. I hope you can help me spread the word on cats for adoption on your blog as I am helping a friend of mine who is a pet shop owner who is not IT savvy. Her name is Aunty Aileen. She found the mother cat and 4 kittens dumped at her pet shop and hopefully somebody is willing to adopt them. One of the kittens is worm infested but is being treated. The kittens i believe are all males. All kittens are dewormed. If possible the kittens and mother can be adopted together since they are not fully weaned.

Another one is a very cute male kitten aged at around 4 months old. He’s very friendly and active.

Please spread the word as I know that there are successful adoptions spread from your blog 🙂  They really need a good home.
Attached are the photos of the cats. I apologize the photos are a bit blurry because I only used my handphone to capture their photos.

Anybody who is interested can contact Aunty Aileen at 019 6632828.

Thank you so much for your help Dr Chan. I hope there will be another loving and caring person out there to save these cats.

Regards, Lila

I notice that the kitten’s rt. eye is bulging
if we look carefully from picture 3 and 4. I would suggest the
fosterer to take him to the vet just in case is viral infection and if
no immediate medical intervention then this kitten will be blind.
I remembered the incidence happened with one of the kittens that Bro
Koo rescued from Pantai Hillpark and later all of them developed viral
infection…one of them died of seizure, one was nearly blind
(Fortunately,Dr Wong was really try her best to save her eye) and the
third one was ok….I cry so much about this incidence….very vivid
memory and a lesson learned for me in deed through animal health!
    Thank you.
