Hi Dr. Chan,My name is Zai. Yesterday i found a cat with something that looks like a small size of a ping pong ball on her left eye. She looks so weak n hungry. I felt pity on her so gave her some can food and planning to sent her to any vet to look at her injury. But i couldnt afford to pay for the medical. Can you tell me what’s wrong with her eye? I attach some of her pic for you to see. Can i apply for Myanimal Care to sponsor her medical? It would mean a lot to me and this cat if she can be saved.Thank you.Regards,Zai.
I advised Rozaimah to quickly take the kitten to the vet’s and get it treated.
She did, and here’s an update on 14th February:
Hi KY,Wanted to update to you about the cat. Its a he not a she. He has been safely undergone eye surgery. The bill is RM218. I need to send him for neutering 1 month after the surgery, can i apply subsidy for that? Together with this are his picture before and after surgery. I manage to find one of my friend to adopt him and he is now in a good care. It would help my friend if i can apply subsidy for his neutering bill next month. I will send the original receipt and claim form to you. Thank you for your advise and support. It’s my first time helping a stray cat. It really makes me feel good. Thank you againRegards,Rozaimah..
We have subsidised RM109 (which is 50%) for Tam’s surgery.
We will also subsidise his neutering when the time comes.
Great work, Rozaimah!

At last i know the update for this kitten 🙂 I saw this kitten’s photo in KTAJ fb wall recently and I responded to the rescuer to write to you because she said she would like to help the kitten but couldnt afford the treatment cost. Thanks to you Dr Chan for your big help to the animals in need. And of course big thanks to the rescuer and adopter. Great job and get well soon, Tam
