I have received Chai’s consent to publish this sent on behalf of her by Koo:
Dear Dr Chan,Chai, who has lost her two dogs (one is a foster from KL Pooch Rescue), has asked me to write to you on her behalf for your help to publicise on your blog because she’s too busy searching for them and has taken 3-day work leave to do so.Doorbell & Bree went missing together on the morning of 5 March 2012 at her residence in USJ 1, Subang Jaya. They were believed to be kidnapped by a man who was seen climbing over her gate by her neighbor.Doorbell is a purebreed Shih Tzu, female and about 1 year old. She is described as super hyper and has a microchip.Bree is a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix dog who was dumped by an illegal breeder along with other similar dogs and rescued by KL Pooch Rescue. She is female, spayed and about 5 years old. She is described as very timid, debarked (by breeder), shaved and quite underweight. Bree has been reportedly sighted by residents (who didn’t know she was lost at that time), running pass their houses and may still be within USJ1.If you’ve seen or have information about this dog, please call Chai at 0192608212. A reward is offered for their safe return.Thank you very much for your help.Best regards,Koo

This is so so sad. Truly disgusting the person who did this deliberately. My thoughts to the dogs and owner.
I’m happy to inform that Doorbell has been found! Upon her FB friends’ advice, Chai has created a simple lost dog flyer design and quickly distributed them around her neighborhood. As a result, a gentleman contacted her to inform that he’s got Doorbell. The kind soul refused to take any reward and was just glad to be of help. However, Bree the foster dog is still out there and everybody’s hoping she would be found soon because she has already suffered enough from her breeding past…
