The kitten was brought by the fosterer to Megaa’s house. Megaa says the kitten is active and eating well, but its eyes were bulgy. So, with the help of a friend, Megaa brought the kitten to the vet for a check-up.
From Megaa:
Vet said hard to say anything since kitten only a few days old, umbilical chord still there. She asked to bring back in 2-3 weeks. She definitely sees some liquid around the eyes. Suspects eye not fully developed, or worst case scenario, the kitten may be blind. Things may change over the weeks. Keeping our fingers crossed. No medicines, no charge, just lots of TLC.
Yes, and lots of positive vibes from us all, Megaa. As pledged, we’d be more than happy to help out with the medical needs of this kitty.

Have asked Megaa for a name of this kitten. Megaa wanted a unisex name, so I searched and found “Kaori”. It means “strong” in Japanese.
Kaori it is, then. Megaa has agreed.

I dont think the kitten is blind, it takes 2 to 3 weeks before they open their eyes and without the mummy it may take longer. Just need him warm and got to feed him every 4 hours. Keep strong Kaori all the love coming your way.
Kaori passed away two days ago.
