Little lamb hid the knife to save sheep, butchers wept

In Ma Lian village, a very successful popular sheep soup restaurant had been closed suddenly without announcement; many of the old customers couldn’t understand the reason behind.

According to the newspaper reporter’s investigation, there was a very moving story happened about the mother sheep and her lamb facing their last departing saga not long ago.

 

It has been the restaurant owner’s business technique to show how fresh cut of sheep meat that they supplied to the customers by butchering the sheep alive in front of the restaurant door for last more than five years.

 

Half month ago, the owner, Mr. Zhao bought one sheep and one lamb from the farmer. The same day, he told the employee to kill the sheep. The employee laid the butcher knife on the bench outside the restaurant and went inside to retrieve the basin to catch to sheep’s blood; when he returned, there’s no knife to be found, and no one claimed seeing the knife. In the meantime, the sheep lowered her head and licking the lamb crying, the lamb was lying down and looking up at the sheep, the tears were running down uncontrolled and wet the lamb’s little sadness face.

 

The butcher was stunned what he just saw; he called his boss’ attention. Mr. Zhao was surprised as well. He thought of the farmer’s words: “They are mother and child”.

They sensed that they were facing their last moment of departure and saying good bye in a saddest way. In order to avoid the lamb to seeing his mother to be killed, he told the employee to remove the lamb away from the scene.

 

As the man picked up the lamb, here’s knife lying under the lamb! No one could figured out how it happened but all agreed that the little lamb took the knife and hid it under his body to protect his mother from be slaughtered!

Mr. Zhao heard about that the cow and horses had tears in their eyes before they’d been slaughtered in the past, but this is the first time he witnessed the unbelievable truth. He told the men to let them go.

 

Few days later, the scenery of crying mother and baby sheep for their last fare well kept on playing in front of his eyes vividly, he could not wiped off his guilt, finally, he decided to close the restaurant for good and would never do this kind of business again, ever!!!
