Tinsel has a rather sad history. As a tiny kitten, he was rescued by Terry’s friend, from behind the tyre of a car that was just about to roll over him. Terry fostered him, and when he was old enough, we found an adopter for him. Unfortunately, his wife was allergic to cat fur and Tinsel was returned.
Next, Tinsel was adopted by a couple. After almost three years, the couple migrated, took their other cat but did not take Tinsel along, so we endeavoured to find him a home again. By then, Tinsel had become a free-roamer and was a bit semi-feral.
We found him a home with a very nice lady. Unfortunately, this lady’s housemates could not accept Tinsel, so Tinsel had to go again. Luckily he spent some time with this kind lady, and his semi-feral nature was tamed.
So, Tinsel went back to Terry for fostering. We blogged for adopters and a few were interested, but none was successful. The potential adopters expressed interest, Terry replied, and that was that.
Tinsel has been to five homes now and Terry cannot adopt him because Terry’s brother is allergic to cats.
And Terry’s job takes him away quite a bit so he was contemplating releasing Tinsel to his neighbourhood and letting him be a community cat.
Well, that would be the last ditch option, but it need not be so now, because I told DT about Tinsel and she said Tinsel can stay with her!!
So, Terry will make arrangements with DT and Tinsel will be off to his new home soon.
Thank you very much for your very kind heart, DT.
Have a great life, Tinsel.
Tinsel at his 4th home.
Your nomading days will be over, Tinsel.
You’ll have a forever home real soon!

So sweet when people care for a street cat. So happy for him. God is great to keep him safe and find new home.
Er…I think humans found him a home.
Good to hear that. May he be loved unconditionally and adored to bits by his new owner, for he’s a handsome boy.
Animals would not have to suffer so much if God has been keeping an eye on them.
God doesnt help directly, but has created loving hearts like Kah Yein, Meiji, Pak Din etc
