Fosterer needed for Kucing (Kamaruzaman’s)

Hi Dr Chan,

Attached is the latest pic of Kucing. He needs to be handfed. He is otherwise ok but still hasnt gone to toilet or eating by himself. Very accepting of food given to him though up to a certain point. Bill so far RM951. He needs fostering but the guy who brought him in says no money to pay for his tin food and also no cage to keep and also cannot look after as he himself has a kid. So looks like I have to take care of him unless a kind fosterer can do that.

As for the bill, we have received individual donations totaling RM600 from Elizha Nur, Lina Dalila, Sherlyn Low and an anonymous donor. This is more than enough to cover the remaining 50% as we are already subsidising 50% of the cost.

However, apparently, Kamaruzaman is not able to foster Kucing as he claims he cannot pay for the canned food and also cannot look after Kucing.

So, it looks like Dr Dev has to foster Kucing, which we feel is rather unfair as he needs to run his clinic and has other patients to take care of. There are also boarding charges if Kucing remains at the clinic and it is also taking up a space for another animal who needs medical care.

We would like to appeal for a fosterer for Kucing. The vet has told Kamaruzaman that he must take Kucing back after Kucing is well enough.

Dr Dev has already done so much for this cat, has done the castration free of charge and is also absorbing part of the cost of the surgery and treatmen. We hope someone can come forward to help foster this cat.
