Hi Dr Chan,
A malay neighbour alerted to me this afternoon that there is a dog taking refuge inside their garbage compartment. The dog is unfriendly when approched but it does looks hungry. I bought the dog food and water and it literally finished everything.
The dog later walk to one of the house along the same street as my house and it just stared at the main gate. So, I thought the dog must be belongs to this house (which I remembered that they had a dog which confined in a small cage all throughout its life). I rang their doorbell but nobody open the main gate. And I noticed that the small cage left opened without any dog inside.
Looking at the dog, it is really pityful. In my mind (despite knowing the dog owner is that staying in that house) I will get this dog into my car and send to the vet. But, when approched it shows its teeth, yikes! Luckily, after a lot of talking and convincing, the dog finally willing to follow me inside the car. After that, the dog is really friendly and polite.
The vet doctor at the clinic nearby not free to attend the dog as he need to rush for an appointment with a client. However the vet suggested to send the dog for grooming. So, I brought the dog to another vet clinic which they immediately attend to it.
1st physical examination shows the gender is a female. Before that it is unnoticeable because of the fur like glued together. Please see the photos. Since it is a female, I decided to named her Bella.
Bella’s now is at the vet clinic in Puchong. The vet will shave her fur. I requested the vet to dewormed her as well as to carry out blood screening to check for any contagious decease; hence she will be staying overnight at the vet clinic today.  If everything clear, I will foster Bella until someone responsible willing to adopt her. If anyone interested to adopt Bella, please write to me at connie4707@yahoo.com
I have no intention to send Bella back to her human house. I just heard from a neighbour who saw what happened today; that the human literally throws Bella outside their house. Bella was crying to ask the human to let her come inside but that human went back inside the house and closed the door!
Will visit Bella at the vet clinic tomorrow. Hope she is ok.
Regards,
Connie

It saddens me that there are cold hearted/ cruel people out there who would just discard their pets when they are no longer wanted. Especially when dogs are such loyal companions. I hope Bella will find a forever home with people who will love and take care of her.

Great job Connie. Bella is a beautiful dog. Remove all the matted fur, and find her a loving family and she’ll be the most loving dog anyone could have. She looks really intelligent too…

Poor Bella, after all that she has gone through, i hope and pray that she will find a loving home. As for the human who abandoned her, what goes around comes around. Thanks connie, because of you Bella now has a chance to live a happy life that she deserves.

The pictures above show years of neglect. Thank you so much Connie for coming to the rescue. I hope that Bella will be able to find a permanent loving home where she will get all the love and attention she deserves.

All the noble hearted angels out there, thank you for rescuing & rehoming/adopting the abandoned and stranded pets. While we just sit at home sympathising with the unfortunate souls and couldnt do nothing much, you angels step forward, sacrifice your time, energy & money to rescue, rehome or adopt these innocent souls. May god bless you and your generation too.

Bless you Connie, Bella, Dr Chan & new adopter~

It takes a lot of guts to abandon your pet just like that- to be void of any conscience & remorse. I am truly intrigued with your evil neighbor on how they could do that, what were they thinking ..?
