  • Yoshee’s evening walk and dinner

I’m amazed at how accurately the vet described Yoshee’s character on the day I picked her up (as a timid and frightened little dog) and brought her to the clinic for a check-up. The vet said she “can be a naughty dog” because her eyes followed the vet’s every move. To me at that time,…

  • Yoshee will be adopted tomorrow

This morning, Ming-Yi left for work very early. Since she had to drive her car out of the porch, she must have let Yoshee into the house. When I got up, to my surprise, Yoshee greeted me happily at my bedroom door! She had come all the way up all by herself. As I drove…

  • Mr G and Ginrella – a duel

As I was writing today’s blog posts, I heard a most horrible cat-fight noise right outside in Bunny’s Place.  Oh my goodness!  It’s a head-on head-butting duel between Mr G and Ginrella. I grabbed the garbage enzyme spray but the spray wasn’t strong enough to reach them.  So I filled up the water-gun and shot…

  • Yoshee’s adventures today

Nandhini heard about Yoshee and dropped in for a visit, with snacks for her.  Yoshee was sleeping, at mid-morning. She loves the coconut husk.  Hi, Yoshee! For some strange reason, Yoshee slept on while Nandhini was here and as we chatted right beside her. I think Yoshee was completely konked out after all the excitement…

  • Thoughts on the bull terrier case (from a reader)

Your work in helping animals through AnimalCare is akin Mother Theresa helping the destitute and unwanted in the slums of India. You are the Mother Theresa to abandoned and unwanted animals. Another note; Baggy is your…

  • The first Cat Cafe in Vienna, Austria

Take a look: http://news.yahoo.com/video/world-15749633/cat-cafe-serves-coffee-cake-fur-29270141.html I wonder if the idea would catch on over here. I would think it is a step in the positive direction to cultivate the acceptance of animals into our lives, let alone compassion. Let’s work on “acceptance” first, that they can also be a part of our lives and that they…

  • Yoshee’s early morning breakfast

Yoshee was whining a little bit last night because she wanted to get into the house. She kept going to the Stargate and the kitchen window, trying to get in. I would have let her in, but my husband says he prefers that she stays in the patio at night. But after midnight, she was…

  • “Here for a Reason”, my next book!

At long last, the comic book that I started 3 years ago has now finally gone for layout. Thanks to the delay in looking for an artist to complete the drawings (that is how hard it is to look for an artist who is willing to continue the work), I have expanded the book, with…
