The plight of stray dogs in Kiev

Strays dogs in Kiev are being rounded up to be slaughtered in preparation for Euro 2012.

We only have this to say – What goes around comes around.

To everyone, everywhere – please Neuter and Rehome where you can. If rehoming is not possible, then return, but only to SAFE colonies.  We know it’s not easy, but neutering is one of the best solutions to this problem. The other is to adopt No-Kill, which we also promote.

Once killing is no longer a permissible option to solve problems, people would be compelled to find other ways.

Unfortunately, humanity has not gone to the level where the killing of animals is unacceptable.

We have a long way to go, but we have to keep walking to get there. As long as we do not give up, we will reach there, someday.

Little by little is the water jug filled.

“Ukraine is spending hundreds of millions of euros building shiny new stadiums but it’s the dogs on the streets who are paying the ultimate price for the country to play host to Euro 2012 matches”. Sad. What goes around WILL SURELY comes around. We will just wait and see.
