Amy Kwek sent this, and if indeed there are such people going around “adopting” stray animals, it pays to be vigilant and careful when giving up our animals for adoption.

Weird. I hope those who place ‘for adoption’ in the petfinder will read this. Thanks Amy for highlighting this for everybody attention.
so what happened to those cats? did all of them end-up in cooking pot or became shooting target practice ( just read in star paper yesterday)
A few years back, there were people looking for ‘unwanted’ cats. They wanted to buy a big cat for 5ringgit or “besar punya, lima ringgit”. Our neighbour actually sold her cat to those people, only to regret it later when she learnt that the cats were used to feed bigger exotic animals e.g tiger, snakes. Don’t be too glad if someone wants your cats or puppies. They might want it for the wrong reasons.
