Lost Golden Retriever found in Taman Tun (Koo Swee Por’s)

Updates on 2nd Aug – the owner and dog has been reunited!!

Dear Dr Chan,

It would be very much appreciated if you could publicise this on AnimalCare:

This old boy was found wandering aimlessly at Jalan Athinahapan, Taman
Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) in front of the TTDI community centre this
morning (Friday, 27 July 2012). I think he’s a Golden Retriever (GR)
and has a collar but no ID tag. If anyone know who this GR belongs to
or have any info about him, please do contact me by e-mail:

    I’ve taken him to the vet who has diagnose him to have heart and kidney problems after a full check-up including a blood test and x-ray. These health problems result in his body unable to absorb any nutrients no matter how much food he ate hence his thin frame. Fortunately, these problems have not yet reach a critical stage and can be controlled with medication. Thus, it’s more urgent to find his owner as he’s likely already been prescribed with medicine that he urgently needs.
