Rescue updates on the kitten at the Cold Storage (Zharina Abd Karim’s)

We wish to thank Joy E. Saga for responding to this S.O.S. to help rescue the kitten. Mission No.1 was not successful yesterday, but Joy and Zharina will try again.

Dear Dr Chan,

I met Joy yesterday evening after work at Cold Storage Klcc. I am very glad that she offered to help and lend me her time to come. We talked to the staff and Joy tried to search for the cat as well. Unfortunately, the staff claimed that the cat is hiding under the shelf of cold drinks. It was dark and hard to be reached. We couldnt find any sign of the cat since there was so many pipings and stuff below the shelf. Moreover, it was peak hours that time and many customers at the Cold Storage. The staff told us that the cat has been there for months and they have tried to catch it but failed. They also told us that the cat will come out and search for food at night. At one time the staff seems dont want to entertain us since some of the customers were asking what had happen and they looked uncomfortable. After about half an hour we gave up and decided to go home. I feel sorry for the cat. It is not as easy as when I rescued Coco the one eye cat which the surgery has been subsudised by Animalcare fund few months ago. I found Coco at a restaurant and it was easy to catch. I am sorry since there is no picture of the cat at the Cold Storage that I can share with you. Thanks a lot to the kind-hearted lady, Joy.

Here is a picture of Coco that I can share with you. Coco eats a lot and become fat now 🙂
