This is what you can do….
Make a wirenet cushion for them. Our cats LOVE it!
This is another case of serendipity (an accidental discovery). We actually rolled up the wirenetting and left them around as “tunnels” for them to play with, but that didn’t last.
Then,the cats flattened them and turned them a cushiony “hammock” of sorts.
It is springy and cushiony. Tabs loves it!
The elders prefer their Clubhouse chairs, of course…
But I have caught them going onto the wirenet hammocks too, and taking their naps there!
