We wish to thank Royal Canin Malaysia for donating 500kg of Royal Canin Catfood to our Food Fund. A total of 54 bags of catfood (repacked into bigger bags) were sent to us today.
Our supervisors for the day were Heidi and Vincent.
This consignment consists of the following:
Since Maslinda Abd Talib is the only cat caregiver recipient of our Food Fund who resides in the Klang Valley (the other three are in Johor, Penang and Pahang), we gave all the catfood to Maslinda for the community cats whom she looks after.
Maslinda says she knows of other cat caregivers who will benefit from this catfood donation, so she will help us distribute the catfood and give us photos and details of the recipients. We will update on the blog.
Maslinda came over this evening to collect the catfood. She didn’t know there was so much!
We only managed to load half the amount into her car.

Now, Heidi is other guard, but she was caught eating on the job.
Yes, you read that right – EATING on the job.
Before Maslinda even arrived, Heidi had bitten a small hole in one of the packets! Now, how did she bite if she barely has anymore teeth left?
When there’s a will, there’s a way. Trust a cat to find the way!
So I told Maslinda she must really come back to take all the remaining bags tonight. Otherwise, by tomorrow, I don’t know how many bags would be left intact!
Maslinda said she will get a friend to come. We need two cars to load the remaining bags.
After dinner, Maslinda arrived with 3 friends and another car.

We wish to thank Royal Canin Malaysia for their very generous contribution for the street cats in Maslinda’s community. This contribution will help other feeders too and we shall await photos from Maslinda when she shares the catfood with other feeders.
All the food contirbuted by Royal Canin is now at Maslinda’s house for safekeeping.
Maslinda Abd Talib is a cat caregiver, feeder and rescuer in PJ Old Town. She feeds about 30 cats (and a few dogs!) in her neighbourhood and we help her with our Medical Fund and Food Fund. Despite Maslinda’s critical illnesses, she goes about her daily affairs in looking after all these cats joyfully and responsibly.

It is claimed that, RC is addictive! I remember it smelt real good.
Yes, my brood used to be on RC way back. In fact, they grew up on it. It IS very addictive! And super palatable!

Mas, you are not alone. Yes, I have tasted dog food before and still tasting especially new brands before giving to the respective fellow canine. I know it smells real good and extremely crunchy. ;p
