Dalmatian goes to Rainbow Bridge (Lester Hiew Thiam Hock & Jenny Khong Chin Chin’s)

I am sure this is the saddest news of the day for everyone. Just received the email below from Lester. Dalmatian did not make it, but we will always take comfort in knowing that Jenny, her neighbour and Lester did their very best and provided love and care for Dalmatian in his last few days. He will carry the memory of this love with him as he roams freely and happily at Rainbow Bridge now.

We share Lester & Jenny’s grief.

This morning, Ms Cindy Lim-Tan banked in a donation to support Lester & Jenny’s rescue work and we shall channel part of her donation towards sponsoring in full, the treatment given to Dalmatian.

Death ends this life, but a new life begins immediately, and for animals, it will always be in a better place.

May Dalmatian be in that better place now.

good evening miss,

sorry to bring you such sad news.
just got back home not long ago and mum told me that the dalmation passed away this afternoon.
Dr is not sure exactly why he passed away but she suggested that most likely it is due to the insufficient blood inside his body.
even though the blood test turned out to be okay, he still did not make it.
we are sure that he really fought and now he is in a better place.
we have decided to cremate him instead of burying him since we do not have a place for him.
may he rest in peace.
thank you very much,
Lester Hiew
Lester’s update to all readers in the previous blogpost:
i just got back home not long ago from college and i received a sad news from my mum and i feel very sad to announce this sad news to all of you. this afternoon, this dalmation’s health state turned really bad. soon after, he passed away. the vet said this may be because due to the infestation of ticks, he had insufficient blood inside of him, causing him to be really weak and collapse. he was a really strong boy and he really fought until the end. he passed away peacefully. since he was quite a big dog, we do not have a place to bury him so we have decided to cremate him. i am sorry boy, that you had to go through all that. you are in a better place now. sorry all, the vet and ourselves really tried our best. boy, rest in peace.

It’s alright. He felt love during his last moments. Paths crossed for a reason, he hung in there so that he gave a chance for 3 individuals to do some good deed and many more others too (those who donated, those who prayed).

  2. oh no. we’re so sad!!! such a beauty Dalmatian. but Lester and mum did a good job. kudos!
