Medical sponsorship for Furry, rescued male dog with severe maggot wounds (Lester Hiew Thiam Hock & Jenny Khong Chin Chin’s)

The bill is RM214 for wound cleaning, general anaesthesia, injection and medication. We have sponsored in full: RM47 from AnimalCare donors, RM60 from Berjaya Cares and RM107 from Mr Kok Khee Wee. Our subsidy is 50% as per policy and the balance is topped up by Mr Kok.

Good evening miss,

I would like to apply for a medical subsidy for this poor boy. We decided to call him Furry.

Mum and I realized that he has been wandering around my area for several days already.
He looked and walked very weakly and we noticed that his head is always tilt to a side.
Yesterday evening, mum went and see for herself.

Furry has quite a lot of ticks and wounds on him. Left ear full of maggots; either caused by an ear infection or a wound at the back of his ear the vet said.
His tummy surface area also has maggot wounds. Not sure why. He has a wound on his neck as well.
He was treated at the vet’s today but he was not allowed to board there because of his ticks.
Mum went back for a while to figure out a place for him to stay. Luckily, one of the houses there is willing to accept and foster him while he recovers. He is now recovering in their house.

The vet said there is a chance he might not make it as he is already quite weak but as always, let us hope for the best and hope he recovers soon.
