Helping us help the animals!

We would like to thank everyone who have helped us help the animals by purchasing our Gifts (by donation) for fundraising. Even if you only purchased a bar of soap, the proceeds go towards helping the animals and every little bit counts.

Recently, Oreo Bartholomeow Balestorm’s mama decided to purchase his favourite Monge catfood through us, but Oreo is the only cat at home and our bulk order is a bit too much for Oreo alone to consume. So Oreo’s mum pooled together the orders of two more cats from Penang (!) and Oreo’s parents will deliver the consignment to Penang when they visit during the holidays.

Thank you very much, Oreo and family!

Here are some photos that Oreo sent of himself and his food “stash”:

Wahh.. Oreo dah jadi ‘anak teruna’ dah… kacak dan comel… (eventhough pic no. 4 displays his cheekiness..hehe!)

Hi Uncle Akmar, what is ‘anak teruna’? I used google translate and it came up as “young child”. Is that correct? “Kacak dan comel” was translated as “handsome and cute”. Gee, shucks. Thanks uncle Akmar!

That’s Aunty Akmar, Oreo! But I agree that “anak teruna”, “kacak dan comel” all apply to you!

Oreo dearie, ‘anak teruna’ can loosely be translated as a young man-child. It is used to describe that one has grown up..physically, that is.. 🙂

Oh dear, sorry Auntie Akmar for calling you uncle. Mama says I like men more than women so I generally tend to call everyone ‘Uncle’ first. >.<
Thank you for the translation Auntie Akmar. Yes, I have grown up, I'm almost a year old and I weigh approximately 5kgs now! There was a time when everyone called me a cow/piglet as they said I was fat. I've been exercising much more and am more muscular now. So no more "cow/piglet" remarks for me!

But I still love to play and am very cheeky and sneaky. Mama have resorted to hiding her hair ties from me as I've destroyed/drowned/lost all but 2. I'm still plotting a route to get to those hair ties, they're hanging behind a door far from my reach, but I'm very sure, one day, I'll get them!

Dear Oreo, It’s always good to see and hear from you esp your cheeky, funny stories 🙂 You are really looking good here. You were always a handsome cat. Be good to your mummy and leave her hair ties alone … lol. Love you ♡

    Thank you Uncle/Auntie Chen! :3

Thank you Auntie Jasmine for your kind words. I will try to leave mama’s hair ties alone but I can barely resist them. They’re just so fun to play chase and catch with!
