Ginger’s safehouse

It rained heavily yesterday evening. Suddenly, the skies broke and thunder roared.

The cats reacted.

Everyone from the patio came into the house.

Ginger too.

Rosie and Heidi were too scared to eat.

I never knew Heidi would be so scared of thunder.

She crouched low. Yes, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dame”.

She crouched all the way upstairs and hid there.

Capture

Rosie refused to come out from her rain shelter in the kitchen.

Ginger decided my bag would be his security spot.

Sharing the rain shelter – mother and daughter.

Do you see Rosie behind Daffodil?

Inside, Bunny was scared too.

Pole and Cleo were under the bench, as usual.

Later, at night….

On his own, Ginger came back and sat inside the cage…with the door wide open.

He ate inside the cage and slept there the whole night.

It’s nice that he feels safe inside the cage.

This morning, breakfast was as usual.

Ginger wanted Royal Canin kibbles, so I gave him that with his wetfood, and soon, everyone (including Timmy Two Bowls) asked for Royal Canin kibbles. Oh well…okay. Fair’s fair.
