No matter how caring and loving us humans are, we have our own social lives to attend to or daily chores to do. If there is a pair of kittens, they will keep one another occupied- Eating, playing and sleeping together. This makes them better pets and their owners will be happy as well.
If you are ready for kittens, do consider adopting a pair. Let them grow up together and have their own kind to keep them happy. And why else should you adopt in pairs? You have just saved two lives instead of one. When you adopt a pair of kittens from the animal shelter, it means the shelter will have space for another 2 kittens to wait for their turn to be adopted.
Perhaps it applies to puppies too…
The more we can adopt, the more we can save.
But meanwhile, neuter, neuter, neuter, please!

It is so true about adopting 2 animals. I always tell my friends that it is not much more problem to have another one. Animals need company like humans.
Ha ha I have even neutered my neighbour’s cats without their permission! But we are sure they did not care. We have since adopted 6 of their cats.
