Hi Animal Care,

I have been fostering 2 kittens (male&female ; 6 months old). The Female kitten started going into heat on Wed 24th Sept and I’m thinking of neutering them both.
If possible we would like to neuter the male cat first as I’ve read that it is unsafe to neuter a female in heat.

Can you advice on how to proceed from here?

We are only students and we found the kittens in the trash. So we could really appreciate the low cost neutering.

Fluffy is a 6months old male kitten found in the trash can with 5 other siblings. Sadly, only he and his sister survived. He has already been adopted by a loving family together with his sister.
