Spaying subsidy for April, rescued dog (Mary Way Siew Mooi’s)

April (daughter of Capri) has certainly come a long, long way from her miraculous birth in the car en route from Alor Setar to Penang for a Caesarian (which did not happen!). How time flies….April is now old enough to be spayed and we have subsidised RM150 for her spaying.

Capri is with Mary’s sister in the Klang Valley while April is in Alor Setar with Mary. Both are doing well. Capri has been spayed too.

April was born on 5th April, 2014.

Her mother was a strayed poodle name Capri n rescued but we didn’t know she was pregnant nor was the vets in Alor Setar.

Later we took Capri to Penang vet n the Doctor immediately confirmed her pregnancy n did an ultra sound as well as X’ray.

The results also shows that April was far too big for normal delivery n needed immediate C sec.

After discussion from the vet we then decided to wait for full term before C sec for reason not wanting to lose April.

April was then born on 5th April in  the car on the way to the Penang vet for C sec with smooth normal delivery by Capri who bravely did it all on her own.

We also wants to give thanks to Dr Chan and friends who at that time wanted to help with the cost of the C sec and Dr Chan friends also were there to help out with the food to help the mother n baby when April was born.

Thanks to Dr Chan n friends now April is a very healthy baby of 7mths.
