We wish to thank Jessy Kek’s son (!) for ordering another Mickey blanket from us. He liked the first Mickey blankie so much that he asked if Popo (my mum) could sew him another one. So I said I will sew this second piece.
Both pieces of the Mickey cloth are donated by Jessy herself. I matched it with the chequered cloth that we have. I must say, it’s a really nice match too!

I had a hard time snatching and pulling the cloth from the supervisor as it was a very cold night and the supervisor….was supervising most intently!
This assistant supervisor was more relaxed.

All finished by this afternoon! I used the new happy polka dot cloth I bought yesterday for paneling. My mum will sew the backing with the cloth donated by Lim Seng Mui.
Jessy likes the blanket and her husband, Mr Ooi In Haw, will give a donation of RM388 for this blanket!

What a meaningful way to start the Year of a Rooster…with a RM388 (sang-fatt-fatt) donation!
AND…Jessy has ordered another Mickey blanket (another donation of RM388 from Mr Ooi!) and this time, she is asking if it can be a Popo-sewn blanket!
Well, I will ask Popo….
